Be Careful What You Blog!

Only days after sending my last newsletter prompting readers to read this Blog, an amazing thing happened. Some of you may think that running out of fuel at 10, ooft over the Irish Sea was a rather dramatic way of explaining effective marketing strategy. Possibly a far fetched and unlikely event you scoffed. Well check out this news item in the EADT last week - Pilot's lucky escape after sea plunge. A German pilot did in fact run out of fuel 15 miles short of the coast heading into Clacton. He was saved by a helicopter from Wattisham but the aircraft sank - along with his costs (a whole Cessna). It doesn't look from the photo as if had a lifejacket let alone a liferaft. Poor planning and inadequate resources. Maybe he needs a bit of Aerodynamic Marketing.
